If a posted message of Tony Calvento, one of the most respected journalists in the country is really true, the real father of Deniece Cornejo, who is now facing charges filed by actor-host Vhong Navarro before the DOJ, is Mel Tiangco's ex-husband. Based on Tony's updated Facebook post, a certain Jun Cornejo is the real father of Deniece, according to the columnist, Jun is in the Philippines contrary to a report that he is working abroad.
"UPDATES: Who is Deniece Cornejo? Reports reached me that she is the daughter of the Ex-husband of Mel Tiangco of GMA 7. She is also the niece of Sandiganbayan Justice Cristina Cornejo. Jun is not abroad as alleged but is in the Philippines," Tony Calvento posted.
It can be remembered that Deniece Cornejo, the rumored girlfriend of Cedric Lee, one of the attackers of Vhong Navarro in a mauling incident happened at The Fort in Taguig City last Jan. 22, revealed that her father is working abroad. Incidentally, a lot of speculations about the parents of Deniece are now circulating online, according to some observers, Deniece's parents should come out and help their daughter to clear her name. As you all know, Deniece has already filed a rape case against the actor-host. In an interview with GMA-7, Deniece revealed that she wants to teach Vhong a lesson.
But despite her revelation, some observers believe that she is just pretending to be a rape victim, according to them, the CCTV footage which was presented by the Naional Bureau of Investigation to the press yesterday is a strong evidence the there was no rape incident happened in her own condominium unit.
